Incredible heavily embossed and die-cut advertising sign from Blandon Bakery out of Blandon, Pennsylvania. This piece features a beautiful snow covered scene in the late evening, framed by a latticed border decorated with flowers. Gold and metallic paint are used, as well as glitter to create a wintery feel. The placard for the bakery is raised off of the rest of the image, creating a three dimensional appearance. This placard is held in place with small slots and a bit of glue to the back. The item is in very good condition, with minimal damage to the outer edges and corners. There are also a few small creases on the surface, but they are hardly noticeable. A small mark is printed on the back, stating: Made in Czechoslovakia.
